End test Can't Post

Hi,

I have been given material to learn regarding windows, stairs, timber frame, walls, roofing, dampness, water & heating by my tp, which together with UWE construction software is very good learning material adding together the years of experience within the construction industry as a Plumber, i am coping well with the study except for when i have spoken with people who have failed the ABBE 20 question exams.

This has raised my concern as follows:
Is the material sections i have been reading relevent to the exam? i.e Stairs ?

Can anyone give me a little guidance please
Pete

Hi Brickdust

Looks like your doing the home inspectors HCR course, sorry I can't help you with that one as I am A DEA, however if you are on the ABBE course I do know that if you do fail the exam at the first attempt, you can try again for no extra charge, but I'm afraid most training providers will charge you for any further attempts.
Good Luck

IMHO I think that is wrong, if your doing a DEA coarse then thats what you need to be taught, they may as well teach you a little about flower arranging just in case you persue that a little later. You have enough to take on board to get through your DEA work.
