Storage of records Can't Post

Hello,

Hoping to have my pack submitted this week for assessment. Only thing I'm struggling with is the method statement around keeping records...etc.

I know it's a 15 year retention and mostly common sense in storing them but I cant find any resources to cement this one.

Hope someone can help.

Regards,
Neal.

Re: [nealmetty] Storage of records [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Neal

According to the ABBE questionnaire regarding the storage of EPC records and personal information that I had undertaken the response was that you should keep a backup of all files (preferably on a separate hard drive on your PC) which must be password protected.

In addition, a paper hard copy of all the records should be stored in a lockable filing cabinet. Again it is preferable that the filing cabinet offers some form of protection from fire.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, that helps to flesh out the method statement.

Neal.
